Welcome to my blog, viewers.

This blog was created to display my work as an artist and a photographer.
From the moment I first looked through the viewfinder, I've fallen more and more in love with the beauty you can create in touching the shutter and freezing that moment forever. I love photographing people, special moments, and once-in-a-lifetime events that will never replay themselves out of your mind again. Life is special and wonderful & I find there is no better way to contain it and make it last than through photographs.

Eli 06.23.10

Baby Eli was such a delight to photograph. When I was told he's a light sleeper, I was unsure if we would be able to get any shots of him, since it is best to get the newborn shots in sleep mode. Also, we were working against the fact that he was already past three weeks, which made it more difficult since he was more alert by this time. We were all very relieved that he fell asleep and gave us some really beautiful shots, after a great deal of fussiness of course...ha ha ha...
Absolutely charming baby boy...that's all I have to say!!
Thank you, Hopkin's family!

A Photographer's Joy

The greatest joy for a photographer is to come into the home of someone you previously photographed, and to see your work on their walls.
This was a pregnancy/family shoot I had done back in April for the Hopkins family and when I came back to take pictures of their adorable little newborn, I found this little masterpiece hanging on the wall, as well as more in frames throughout the house.
Let me tell you, this warmed my heart. I am constantly reminded of this great passion inside of me for photography. I love what I do.

One of my best friends wanted a senior photoshoot, so she came to me....since she knew she'd get a hook-up and pretty much not have to pay anything...ha ha ha. Just kidding.
Aliviya has been a big part of my life and has always been there for me, again and again. We've been through laughter and fights and to this day we remain best friends.
This photoshoot was awesome because we just hung out all day... took some pictures... stopped for frozen yogurt... took some more pictures... walked around downtown... took more pictures... had Subway and a couple of pitchers (literally) of water... It was really just a fun day that we spent together-- the only  difference is that she ended up getting a whole bunch of pictures of herself. I know she had as much fun as I did.
I love you, Oliver. :)

There is no way I can explain how much fun this wedding was to shoot.
A good friend of mine, Diana Golovey, was my assistant photographer for the day and she helped me more than I had even imagined. Taking pictures for this couple on their wedding day was an absolute honor and is an unforgettable memory!
Natasha and "Bob" tied the knot on May 22 and it was a beautiful day with perfect weather.
The entire wedding party was super easy-going and we shared many laughs together!!
Beautiful bride and groom,
gorgeous wedding decor,
fairytale-style cake,
& an overall perfect wedding shoot experience!!
